This thesis deals with the development and experimental verification of a nozzle for high pressure blasting into narrow slots. The theoretical part focuses on the issue of surface pre-treatment and the associated evaluation on surface quality after blasting. A nozzle assembly meeting specific parameter for blasting into the gaps of bridge structures was designed for the experiment. The efficiency of the nozzle assembly was then tested on test specimens.
