Application of narrow nozzles for high-pressure water blasting
Original language description
This thesis addresses the design, manufacturing, and testing of nozzles for blasting narrow crevices, primarily on bridge structures, by utilizing a high-pressure water jet. The design is informed by an exploratory analysis of bridge structures. The main objective of the design is to produce blasting assemblies that can efficiently eliminate corrosion products and debris from the interior of the crevices. The thesis includes experimental verification on test samples.
