The purpose of this article is to research the problems of controlling the plastic injection process. Articles used for this research deal with controlling the process by different means. The main research is about sensors, their usage, placement and precision of their measurement. Information collected will be used for improving and finding better ways to control the process of injection moulding and will be used in smart molds. Articles about current situation of automatic mould control were also researched. These articles are mainly about process control through viscosity of molted plastic material.
