Original language description
This work deals with the numerical simulation of factors influencing the forming process of tube ends. First, the forming process is described. Subsequently, the factors affecting the forming process are discussed and then used for the numerical simulation. These are the mechanical properties of the input material, the geometry of the tube, the cutting of the material and the positioning and setup of the forming process. Finally, the results of the simulations are presented and the influence of the selected parameters on the forming process is evaluated.
