Design of a methodology for the verification of mechanical properties in workshop conditions
Original language description
This article deals with the possibilities of verifying the properties of material for pipe forming and the design of a test method for determining mechanical properties under workshop conditions. The theoretical part describes the issues of forming, formability, and mechanical testing. It also deals with possible methods of determining mechanical properties (e.g., tensile test) and its evaluation. The practical part focuses on the analysis of measured data from tensile testing and the design of a custom test method for determining mechanical properties under shop conditions. Furthermore, the testing methodology and the verification of the proposed methodology will be proposed. The output of the work is a model of the fixture for verification of mechanical properties under shop floor conditions and a relation for determining the required mechanical properties from the data measured during the test.
