Original language description
The family of transsonic airfoils for axial compressors is developer for KOBRA project for gas-cooled nuclear reactors. The design Mach number is 0.8. Airfoil geometry is based on classical approach, i.e. mean curve and thickness function. This paper is focused on the mean curve optimization. Both analytical and numerical means are used. The optimal solution is determined according to the total pressure loss and the width of the working angle of incidence interval.
