Novel design method for FIR multiple-notch filter is presented. The procedure uses recursive algorithm for the impulse response coefficients, which is derived from the differential equation of a corresponding zero-phase transfer function. The performanceof digital IIR and FIR multiple stopband notch filters is compared.
