Novel design method for digital equiripple FIR double notch filters for processing of DTMF signals is presented. The filters are based on the differential equation of a corresponding pseudoamplitude. The design of FiR filters for the detection/rejectionof DTMF signals. The performance of digital IIR and FiR double stopband notch filters is compared.
