Measurement and Prediction of Signal Propagation for WLAN Systems
Original language description
This article is focused on measurement and prediction of signal propagation for WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) systems in frequency bands 2.4 GHz and 5.2 GHz. At first WLAN standards are summarized and then two empirical models are described. Resultsof narrowband and wideband measurement campaign and estimated empirical parameters for coverage models are finally discussed.
