Original language description
This paper describes model based techniques for sound texture analysis and classification. Two approaches based on Gaussian Markov Random Fields have been demonstrated. The first approach consists in estimation of parameters of Gaussian MRF model for each subset ot time-frequency channels of the time-frequency representatin of the sound. The second approach combines clustering with Gaussian MRF models, ahich are used for the description of the positioning of the clusters in the texture.
