The purpose of this paper is to review the methodology for designing the robust model based predictive controllers using invariant sets. The stability and robustness are the important properties of each control algorithm. A number of approaches for analysis of these properties have been developed in the linear control theory. One possible way to analyze the stability of the model predictive control is the concept of invariant sets.
