A Model of the External Human Ear Canal Using Electro-Acoustic Analogy
Original language description
The models of human ear canal are useful for many applications, for example in electroacoustics, physiological and psychological acoustic and for medical purposes. This paper deals with a human ear canal modeling which uses the electro-acoustic analogy.Human ear canal is divided into several parts, and each of them is considered as a non-uniform waveguide with a suitable shape. The description for each of parts in terms of chain matrix is derived. The impact of the boundary conditions (pinna, eardrum, middle and inner ear, etc.) and losses in ear canal is also taken in the account.
