Annotating Narratives Using Ontologies and Conceptual Graphs
Original language description
In this paper we propose a generic semi-automatic language-independent framework for annotating content using ontologies as the controlled vocabulary for annotations and Conceptual Graphs (Sowa 2002) as the annotation language. We build on our experiments with story abstracts expressed as conceptual graphs, which proved applicability of conceptual graphs as a language suitable for capturing semantics of narratives. We formulate basic requirements for well formed semantic annotations and we show how theproposed methodology will satisfy them
