Original language description
Design and evaluation of waveguide applicators (working either above cut-off frequency or evanescent mode applicator working below waveguide cut-off) are being described in this paper. Theoretical models of the mentioned applicators and its SAR distribution, results of numerical modelling (software product SEMCAD) and experimetal evaluations are discussed.
