In this contribution we describe our new reults dealing with evanescent mode waveguide hyperthermia applicators, typically used for cancer treatment. We have developed theoretical basis of this technology and designed and evaluated different versions ofthese applicators working below waveguide cut-of freqguency.

V tomto článku popisujeme nové výsledky týkající se vlnovodných aplikátorů s evanescentním videm, které jsou využívány pro léčbu nádorvých onemocnění. Vyvinuli jsme teoretický základ této technologie a navrhli, realizovali a experimentálně ověřili několik různých aplikátorů, které pracují pod mezním kmitočtem jejich vlnovodu.
