New trend in education is the construction of virtual laboratory. In the humanities the situation is much simpler than in technical branches. We can create virtual laboratories for technical subjects as control technique or mechatronics in two ways. Thefirst way makes use of modelling and simulation methods and for realization is very simple. Its disadvantage is considerable distance from reality. Alternative possibility ïs to equip virtual laboratory with physical scale models. Our contribution deals with problems when we create virtual laboratory with physical scale models.
