    The goal of this paper is to enquire the behavior of the Kohonen neural net (also known as Self-Organizing Map, SOM) and its using for world cluster analysis. SOM differs from classical neural nets based on perceptron in many ways. SOM is based on cluster analysis by comparing data vectors. SOM was used for world classification tries to find an position of Czech republic in world benchmark.
