Original language description
In this paper, we develop FDTD method using the higher-order FDTD scheme with second-order accuracy in the time and 18th-order in the space. Also FEM and SPH methods are also presented and used successfully in this problem. Finally, three numerical methods are applied to calculate lightning-induced voltages on multiconductor distribution lines. The solutions of various numerical methods are illustrated and compared by means of graphs. These algorithms are very suitable for solving telegraphy or EM coupling equations of transmission lines in EMC problems with more accuracy.
