Original language description
The paper presents the vibrating-wire viscometer using a new method of measuring fluids viscosity. The viscometer works in a forced mode of oscillations and uses a digital feedback circuit and frequency measurement. The suggested method allows an optimization of sensitivity to the change of viscosity or density by setting a phase of a resonator. The new method gives capability to construct a viscometer with lower uncertainty of measurement than present vibrating-wire viscometers.
