Original language description
This paper deals with prosody modelling possibilities of the Epos TTS system. The aim is the TTS system with absolute duration modelling of separate sounds and the possibility of the using MBROLA compatible Czech voices. Epos is very flexible language-independent TTS system. It can be widely configurated without the need do recompile. The use of editable rules for every step during the synthesis makes it easy to monitor the progress of the synthesis and apply changes. This makes Epos useful for researchpurposes.
