    Design of High NMR A/D Converter for RFID Devices

  • Original language description

    The design of high-NMR 8-bit dual-slope integrating A/D converter is presented in this paper. RFID devices are used in very noisy environment that may interfere with their function that's why it is important to introduce high-NMR to the A/D converter. Dual-slope converter is also simpler and cheaper to design than sigma-delta or SAR converters used in present RFID devices. The aim of this work is to meet the requirement of 8-bit resolution with +/- 1/2LSB INL and DNL accuracy.
