    CMOS Sensor of the Temperature Difference with Analog Compensation

  • Original language description

    Paper describes the circuit structure, which is able to evaluate the temperature difference. It can be used for sensing temperature difference on the surface of the chip. Output signal from this sensor can drive the temperature compensation of the wholechip or it can be used for evaluating internal and external condition around and inside the chip. Circuit structure is based on CMOS technology which guarantees compatibility with other circuits on the chip. Paper describes the sensing circuit structureand also the circuit for compensation of the channel length modulation effect of the transistors in the sensing current mirrors. The programs Cadence and WinSpice were used for simulations.

    Článek popisuje obvodovou strukturu, která je schopna vyhodnotit teplotní rozdíl. Zejména je tato obvodová struktura vhodná k vyhodnocení rozdílu teplot na ploše čipu. Výstupem ze snímací struktury je proud. Obvodová struktura obsahuje analogovou kompenzaci.
