Assessing the Economic Aspects of Sort Rotation Coppices
Original language description
This article deals with the effective use of short rotation copices (SRCs) of fast growing trees on agricultural soil in the Czech Republic. It focuses on using economic models of these SRCs to calculate the minimal price of biomass producen energy purposes. The basic principles used to create these models are included along with the minimal prosuction price approach that ensures the investor with a return on invested capital. The models input data stem from research data obtained on experimental plantation sites where fast growing trees were grown and from the economic calculation on the costs involved activities, specified for the actual condition of the Czech Republic.
