Original language description
The Czech State energy policy is a valid document at present, dealing with the future development of the Czech power energy system. This document was certified in decree of the Czech government in March 2004. It is generally known, that the committee lead by Prof. Paces is preparing a new philosophy of development of the Czech energy sector, and the results should be presented in June 2008, with the recommendation for the power energy system. It is possible to assume, that results and recommendations will not be given only with one direction for the future but they will indicate various scenarios and possible variants. Therefore my presentation is concentrated on general principles of the power energy system which have to be connected with tendencies of the European energy policy and of sustainable development strategy.
