Analysis of Equivalence of Multi-Stage Interconnection Networks
Original language description
Large opto-electronic or optical switching systems due to technology limitations are builded up from multistage interconnection networks (MINs). Nowadays, it exists number of various MINs. This paper addresses the problem of determining whether two MINsare functionally or topologically equivalent. The equivalence analysis has theoretical and practical importance, since if a class of networks is functionally equivalent, results obtained for one member of the class may be applied to all members of the class. The presented methods of determining equivalence between two networks are focused on their simplicity.
