    The class-D power amplifier is inherently constructed as a power digital-to-analog converter, where the input binary word controls the output signal amplitude. The external carrier signal may be supplied in the form of fixed frequency clock or phase modulated clock, which enables to perform simultaneous amplitude and phase modulation. Due to this fact, the developed power amplifier can be used as a part of OFDM modulator. The class-D power amplifier is comprised of four major circuit sections. The inputsection encodes the input binary word and feeds the power amplifier section. In the power amplifier section, the digital signals drive the MOSFET bridges which transmit the signal to the magnetically coupled combiner section. Finally, the filter sectionrejects unwanted frequency components and passes the filtered signal to the 50 ohms matched output. The design, construction, and measurement of the power amplifier were supported by the Research Program MSM 6840770014.
