Experimental Verification of UWB Pulse Propagation in Indoor and Outdoor Environments
Original language description
In this paper, we present measurement results of ultra-wideband propagation in selected indoor and outdoor environments, including forest and dense scrub. The measurement setup and procedure is described. The measurements have been performed using a time-domain measurement system consisting of a pulse generator and a sampling oscilloscope. Then, post-processing of the recorded data is described. First, we apply the CLEAN algorithm in order to study and compare the multipath nature of the investigated propagation channels. Then we present the power gain profiles.
