Optimization of Analogue Integrated Circuits Using Ocean and Differential Evolution
Original language description
While analogue part of the integrated circuit covers approximately 10 % of its area its design takes about 90% of the time needed to design the whole circuit. The optimization of the analogue circuits can save enormous part of that time. This paper presents new optimization tool as a support for analogue integrated circuit designers. This tool is based on powerful differential evolution optimization algorithm. It is strictly implemented to Cadence design system. It was tested on optimization of two types of operational amplifiers.
