In this paper is presented one of clinical studies as a result our longstanding cooperation on the field of microwave thermotherapy. Microwave thermotherapy - hyperthermia in combination with other treatment methods (especially with teleradiotherapy) iscurrently very important and effective method for cancer treatment. This treatment method is used in the Institute of Radiation Oncology at Bulovka University Hospital in Prague since early eighties of last century. Technical equipment for superficial microwave hyperthermia used for cancer treatment at this clinical working place is described as well.
