First estimates of reliability must be made during the design of prototype devices. At present, there has been a significant changein technology of assembly - the technological shift toward lead-free technology that changes the conditions for assembly techniques. This shift has changed the level of reliability coefficients both assembly and some kinds of components. Some componentsalso stopped having a period of constant failure rate - exponential period. These aspects reduce the credibility of reliability prediction using one-parameter model.
