Original language description
We report about design two types of polymer symmetric 1x3 power splitter. First step was to design single mode polymer optical waveguides. Then we continued with designing of three-branch waveguide with triangular shaped spacing and after that we designed 1x3 splitter based on a principle of multi-mode interference. Finally we compared properties of those two structures. The design of the polymer waveguides structure was done by using Beam Propagation Method using RSoft software.
