Dispersed Generation Impact on Faulted Currents in Distribution Systems
Original language description
The paper deals with dispersed generation connected to the distribution grid on current flowing in the grid lines during faults - mainly short-circuits. There is shown at current changes in distribution systems, especially lines with dispersed generationbut also some near ones. These changes can influence protective systems sensitivity very significantly. The calculations in the paper monitor the dispersed generation size, character and location influences on the static and dynamic fault conditions inthe systems. There are also described some possibilities how to face the mentioned phenomena during grids operation and protection.
