    Data Fusion of Inertial Measurement Unit and New Positional Angles Measurement System

  • Original language description

    This paper deals with possibility of data fusion from magnetometer and the new system for positional angles measurement for improving long-term stability of MEMS gyroscopes. First part of the paper describes the new positional angles measuring system, which is based on measuring pressure differences. This new system is independent on gravitate and centrifugal acceleration and on ambient pressure disturbances. Next part describes data fusion of signals from MEMS based inertial measurement unit, MEMS based magnetometer and the new positional angles measuring system. In this paper the scenario of implementing a group of standards IEEE 1451 for securing smart sensors functionality.
