Design of Series Power Distribution Transformers with Low Losses
Original language description
This work deals with the analysis of electrical power losses in transformers used in distribution network. Generally, losses in transformers can be divided into two parts, the core losses P0 which exercise in the magnetic circuit and short-circuit lossesPk which exercise in the windings. In the theoretical part of the paper I analyze the location and cause of the losses. Special attention is being paid independent losses of the load so-called no-load losses, given the need to ensure a continuous supplyof electricity. No-load losses reduction can be achieved by structural and technological measures (core profile shape, direction of sheet rolling, rolling burr, etc.) or by the use of entirely new types of magnetic materials used in the construction ofmodern magnetic circuits. The most important part of the thesis is the design of series power distribution transformers with reduced losses. Total losses strongly depend on the load factor and its low values will prevail no-load losses ov
