Original language description
The paper deals with the derivation of the one-dimensional mathematical model of airflow velocity in highway tunnels and explains potential problems with accurate modelling. The designed algorithm for the refinement of the mathematical model is describedin the next section of the paper. The refinement algorithm is verified on the real operational data from the Cholupice tunnel situated on the expressway R1 ? Prague Ring. The operational data have been provided by the Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Republic.
