Impulse Diagnostic Test of Battery and Load Influence
Original language description
For power source diagnostics and lifetime prediction, it is necessary to define the major processes which influence the source’s behaviour in the most significant way. The first process is connected with the internal resistance (Ri) of electrochemical source (ES) which influence the voltage decrease of source’s voltage course. The second substantial process in electrochemical conversion is the diffusion process. This process dominates when the pulsed load is applied where it influences the source’s capacity and can be evaluated using the impulse measurement methods, where internal resistance and diffusion process are evaluated simultaneously.
