Original language description
The paper describes the investigation of using collocated control for active vibration suppression. Simple proportional velocity-feedback loops are applied to each sensor/actuator pair. Several variant with different densities of collocated pair have been tested for planar mass-spring system. Two version of objective function have been used for optimization. Main targets are the efficiency, power consumption and stability of the system.
