Original language description
In our paper changes of the activation of secondary reserve control are analysed. Our presumption is that to determine the need for secondary reserve control. It is not sufficient to observe only the value of the standard imbalance, because the standard system imbalance is calculated as an average value. We focus on extreme values of the system imbalance and their changes during last years. The system imbalance must be balanced by the balancing energy. The aim of the paper is to discover the validity of the hypothesis that the need for balancing power is increasing due to the extreme values even if there is decreasing total amount of used balancing energy.
