Original language description
Reliable and accurate visual position estimation is one of the main problems studied in robotics. Typically, robots do not need only to estimate their pose, but also positions of other objects. While nowadays methods can estimate positions of arbitrary objects, they are often computationally too intensive, or their reliability is not sufficient. One of the possibilities, that ensures the reliability and efficiency of the position estimation is the use of artificial markers.
