Original language description
CTU CAN FD is an open source soft core written in VHDL. It originated in 2015 as Ondrej Ille’s project at the Department of Measurement of FEE at CTU. The related SocketCAN Linux kernel driver has been developed from 2017 year and it has been accepted in the Linux kernel mainline in 2022 year. The driver support PCI express integration as well as integration to Intel and AMD/Xilinx SoC systems.
