Towards a sensor element with a fiber-mirror resonance structure
Original language description
The paper discusses pressure sensing in hazardous environments using optical sensing approach via free-space Fabry-Perot interferometer. The Fabry-Perot is formed by an LTCC membrane and an optical fiber interface. On the LTCC membrane, reflective coating is deposited from a gold resin. We present the Fabry-Perot topology, with 2.4 mm free-space length and include a study of optimal reflectivity on the fiber end face.
