Original language description
The article deals with two important and distinct issues of today's traffic system. These issues, which could be easily identified by any user, are navigation systems and traffic information systems. Both of these issues are integral part of ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems). The most recent trend in this ITS segment is usage of so called dynamic navigation system, thus symbiosis of navigation and traffic and traveler information systems. Dynamic navigation enables driver to receive actual traffic info (about congestions, traffic conditions, etc.). Actual information are processed by TIC (traffic information center) and converted into an independent ALERT-C protocol and further broadcasted via UHF FM - RDS to the "in car" dynamic navigation system. Main objective of the paper is to get reader acquaint with recent development in field of navigation systems in CR and issues associated with system of traffic information dissemination via RDS-TMC channel.
