Service Quality Management in Multipath Acces Solutions for Transport Telematics Solution
Original language description
Seamless wireless telecommunications data access solutions applied in Intelligent Transportation Systems are required to be provided on a selectable level of well defined service quality. Even though the selection of private solutions can guarantee reasonable service quality levels, such solutions usually can cover only limited areas. Publically available mobile wireless data services can typically offer an acceptable service coverage, as well as competitive pricing; however, public providers' portfolios mostly do not include services with a guarantee of any data services quality level. The authors describe a mobile solution reaching a reasonable quality level which is based on the dynamical seamless selection of the best possible service from the setof just accessible wireless alternatives.
