Original language description
This paper deals with research of rail vehicle's front part in term of passive safety. There were carried out three crash tests of rail kit with the road vehicle, based on analysis of traffic accidents statistics and relevant legislation. The aim of theexperiments was prediction of the traffic accident's consequences during incompatible impact of rail vehicle with passenger car. The partial aim of the tests was to verify of protective frame's function. Protective frame has prevent ingress of passengercar under the train, to protect of train's undercarriage, and reduce the probability of derailment.
