Original language description
This article deals with simulation programs used for analyses of road traffic accidents and deals with the validation of these programs. The article is focused on traffic accidents with pedestrians, especially on child pedestrians. The article describesthe methodology of validation of simulation programs relate to collisions with pedestrians. This methodology is applied to collision with child pedestrian. The validation is based on crashtest of car and child dummy that was undertaken by the Departmentof Forensic Experts in Transportation. The results of these validations enable forensic experts to use correctly the simulation programs relate to this type of collision.
