Hodnocení dopravní obsluhy území veřejnou dopravou pomocí makroskopických dopravních modelů

  • Original language description

This paper deals with public transport service design and its assessment. Most approaches in this field are currently based on calculating time savings caused by designed improvement in the public transport supply. These techniques use as an input constant supply in the form of origin-destination (OD) passenger flow matrix. However, in fact, the passengers change their decisions on the basis of the new public transport supply. So they can change their destination, mode of transport or route in the public transport network. The macroscopic transport models can record, describe and forecast these changes. This paper presents new assessment technique based on the macroscopic transport modelling. Several accessibility indicators are derived from such modeland the assessment uses changes in these indicators to evaluate particular public transport service design. As a numerical example, assessment of the new public transport service design in Jindřichův Hradec is presented.
