The article deals with the evaluation of the average heart rate of pilots - students as an indicator of psychophysiological stress. The article in its first part deals with theoretical basis psychophysiological evaluation factors and subsequent attention is devoted to the methodology and evaluation to measurement of the average heart rate. Based on the results of measurement has been optimized time horizon for initial pilot training to obtain license PPL(A), which is currently authorized number of hours of flight simulator in the range of five hours.
