The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Bicycle Traffic in Třebíč

This study builds on the research presented in the article, Impacts of COVID-19 on Means of Transport Choice: Cars and Cyclists Monitoring. It updates the research data in regards to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused many changes, including in bicycle transport. This article seeks to compare cycling data through the course of the COVID-19 pandemic and with weather events, which have substantial influence on cycling transport. Data on the number of cyclists was observed in the city of Třebíč, where the measured data is comparable to the rest of the Czech Republic. Weather data was provided by the Czech Hydrometerological Institute, the numbers of infected and vaccinated people were obtained from the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.
