A comparative study of thermoluminescence was carried out with four nominally pure KTaO3 crystals from different sources as a function of an exposition wavelength and annealing in H2, Ar, and O2 atmospheres at 1000 ?C. After an exposition to ultravioletlight with wavelength shorter than about 350 nm at 12 K, weak thermoluminescence was observed within the temperature region from 13 to 65 K. An analysis of the glow curves of integral thermoluminescence by the partial thermal cleaning method revealed five individual glow peaks with markedly sample-dependent intensities. The trap depths of 19, 31, 46, 56, and 93 meV corresponding to the individual glow peaks near 26, 31, 34, 41, and 58 K were determined by the "initial rise" method.A comparative study ofthermoluminescence was carried out with four nominally pure KTaO3 crystals from different sources as a function of an exposition wavelength and annealing in H2, Ar, and O2 atmospheres at 1000 ?C.
