Reaction Order of Radiation Dechlorination of Some Aliphatic Hydrocarbons in Aqueous Solutions

Original language description

The radiation dechlorination of perchloroethylene, trichloroethylene and chloroform in aqueous solutions initiated by gamma- or EB-irradiation was studied under various conditions. The reaction order of dechlorination was calculated from the measured basic kinetic data and it was estimated to be of about 2 for all substrates under study. Its dependence on various parameters was invesigated, too.
